Our Policies

Animal Intake

We do exotic animal rescue. Most of the animals that we take in are trained & used for our educational programs. Upon intake, the animal will receive an physical exam and be treated for anything that is found and then enter a 45 day quarantine. After the 45 days is up the animal will enter our main building. If you have or know of an exotic animal that needs a home please contact us.

Pick up period

Once an animal is surrendered to Genesis Animal Sanctuary the owner has 7 days to pick up their animal before a $10 a day boarding fee kicks in. When we start training the animal a $25/day training fee will be added in addition to the $10 boarding fee. To pick up an animal you must have proof that the animal is yours.

We are not a public facility.

If you would like to schedule a visit please give us a call.

Caiman Rescue

Most of the reptiles that come into our rescue are commonly kept pet such as ball pythons and bearded dragons, and some are not so common like Bubbles our Dwarf Caiman. There was a learning curve when we got our first caiman. It took a lot of research to learn how to care for them, learn how they behave, and to handle and train these incredible animals. But after working with this species for a few years we have started expanding our ability to take in and rescue Caimans.
